The Mountains

This weekend was great. I got to spend some quality time with Caden, which made me happy. We went up into the ozarks with my bro-in-law's family. It was a beautiful drive. However, I was stupid and forgot my camera. My sister did have hers though, and I got a couple of pictures.

There was one spot where Caden and I went swimming that had beautiful teal water. Empyting into this teal lagoon was a small waterfall where we rested our feet. It felt really nice and incredibly relaxing. Upon standing up from this small waterfall I slipped and fell on my ass. It was freaking hilarious. Caden was laughing so hard. The funny thing is when she went to stand up, she busted her ass as well. It was really funny that we both ended up back where we started, lol.

Anyways, we eventually got on our feet and went to drive the atv around. We followed this one trail that seemed to end at this steep hill. Well it did end at this steep hill, but we didn't, lol. We went down it and drove around through some thick trees for a while. Upon realizing we had to go back up this hill, we were both worried. We tried to go up it once but failed and almost rolled the atv. We drove around a bit to try and find another spot, but there wasn't one. So, I had Caden get off the atv and I rode up the hill leaning as far forward as possible. The atv made it and we were safe.

We drove a bit further down this other trail to come across some bear tracks. The first bear tracks I have ever seen in real life. It was pretty cool. I wish I would have had my camera so that I could of taken pictures of them, but alas I did not. I guess some things are best left to memory.

Well, the trip was exciting and fun. I hope to do it again. I think Caden had a great time, and she definitely deserves it. I'll write again, I should be getting my axim in today or tomorrow so I'll tell all about it in my next blog. So long as nothing interesting happens at college square tonight.

Sunset

I went out to a place called Cadron settlement a couple of hours ago. I decided to get out of the house and watch a sunset, it's been a while. Anyways, here's a pic I took of it, hope you enjoy.

While out there I decided to get my mind off of some recent happenings. This sunset proved useful.

Love is a song that never ends... until someone changes the station.

Well, I finally ordered my Dell Axim x51v Today. It's gonna take like a week to get here, so yay. I'm excited, i've always been a bit disorganized when it comes to school, but this device will help me greatly while attending college.

Not much is going on today, had to pick up the mustang from the shop. $260 bucks for a tune-up, prices are crazy. I guess you gotta do what you gotta do when you have a car with 100,000+ miles though.

I'm going to have a bit of a busy next couple of weeks. All kinds of deadlines I have to fulfill. College Pre-registration, Court for a traffic violation, Work, Shots for diseases (lol), and all kinds of other random crap I already forgot about.

Anyways, don't have any new pics yet. However, my sister did get a pretty cool camera today. It's a ( I think ) Coolpix S4, it has a swivel lens that is pretty neat. Quite handy, pretty decent for a point and shoot. She got a pretty good price on a 1GB SD card too, $23 bucks. Good stuff.

I'm going through some hard times with my girlfriend at the moment. I figured I'd put that in here to remind myself of the current situation. We live 150 miles away from each other and it sucks. I had a problem with a betrayal earlier in the relationship that is tearing me apart. It's even worse now that I'm not living with her. I can't keep from thinking she's being completely unfaithful to me. I don't know, I'm just tired of hurting and stressing over it. I think I'm gonna call it off here pretty soon. I honestly think it'd be for the best, for both of us.

Well, I'll keep ya updated. Sorry for the bad news. Until next time...

PocketPC

I've found a pretty cool thing that I'm going to purchase. It's called a pocket pc. A Dell Axim x51v to be precise. Once I start college I figure it'll be a great asset to help me keep track of my schedule and classes. Not only that it can help me keep my blog up to date! I can write a blog message anytime during the day, when inspiration strikes and save it so that I can upload it when I get home. Pretty cool.

I would have ordered it today, however the Dell financing online application thing is currently being maintenanced. I guess I'll have to wait till tomorrow. I was gonna get it overnight too, damn that means I won't get it till monday. Oh well, I don't mind waiting a bit longer. School doesn't start for a while yet.

Anyways, not much going on today besides that and finishing up my FAFSA application. All that needs to be done with it now is a signature and it'll be completed.

Until next time.

FAFSA

Just made it through halfway of filling out my FAFSA form. Gotta go to work here in about 20 minutes so I took a break. I'll finish it up tomorrow.

Not much going on today, ive been pretty dead. I don't have work tomorrow or the next day so I'll have some free time to update my blog a bit. I'll also have some time to complete a long overdue task, cleaning up my room. :|

Have loads.

College Square

Sitting here at my second night of college square. It's going pretty slow but the work and job I am required to do is no hassle. I just had my first emergency pull cord. I had to go help a man named Dan Hayden fix a bandage on his arm. If that's how it always is, then no problem. Josh is out letting his gf out of the building and he'll be back anytime now. Only 40 more minutes and I'm out of here to go home and get some rest.

I'll enjoy this job. It's easy money and I get to play on the computer all night. What could get any better than this? :) That's all for now.

Student Loans

I've requested information on student loans to pay for my tuition at UCA. I'm going to try and get a full ride with financial aide from a respected bank. UCA offers a career placement program, so If I start my career as a computer software engineer making ~$50000 a year starting, I'll be able to pay back the loan in no time.

I've been thinking and I'll be placing a large sum of cash into a savings account every year for approximately 20 years and try to retire early. This will lower my life style a bit, but when I retire I'll be living quite well. I always thought that I wouldn't mind living in an apartment in a city anyways.

Anyways, all for now. I've got work today and I'm taking my laptop so maybe I'll post something else tonight.

Carpe Diem

Well, my first day back at CSR went smoothly. It was extremely boring, which makes me excited because I know I'll be able to get my homework done while attending school. Which brings me to another thing... I received a letter from UCA congratulating me on my enrollment into UCA this fall. I'm finally going to college! This is an exciting phase in my life and I can't wait to get started. I have to return to them a notice stating that I can begin the enrollment process on June 8th 9:30 at Harrin Hall. Woo Hoo! I'm really excited, I'm making big changes in my life and they are for the better.

That's all for today, I'll end on this...

Dum loquimur fugerit invida aetas.
Carpe diem quam minimum credula postero.

Photography

Not only will this blog be used as a commentary journal, but it will also be used as a photographic journal. I will be posting my most recent photographs here.

Here is the first pic I'll be posting, I took this one a while back actually. It was taken in front of my girlfriends house one evening as we were arriving back home. The clouds masked the sun just right to allow for these awesome rays. Hope you enjoy.

One of my hobbies is photography. Not only will I be posting artistic photos, I'll also try and post photos of events in my life.

New Job

Today I begin my new job at College Square Retirement. I will be a front desk person and work from 4-12. I hope to have this position throughout my time at UCA so that I will have more flexible work hours.

I think I'll enjoy my time here. I used to work at CSR back in high school, however I was a waitor then. I believe I'll like this new position better and it'll give me a place to call work for the next 4 years.

I start here in a couple of hours. I guess I should find what I'm going to wear.

The Beginning

Well, a couple of weeks ago I finally decided that it was time for me to start my life. I have applied for college at UCA in Conway, Arkansas and plan to pursue a bachelor's degree in computer science. I've always been interested in computers and I figured why not make a career out of it.

Plans as of now are to graduate, then move myself and girlfriend to Savannah, Georgia where I will begin work as a computer software engineer. She will be going to college here in about 2 years to study to become a registered nurse. Thereafter, certifying to become a nurse anesthetist.

Right now we have big plans to travel the world and see many beautiful things. I will, of course, tote my camera around with us and take many pictures. This blog will stand to represent our goals and achievements over the next years to come.
